Okay buddy time for a best friend peptalk! First of all, there's nothing wrong with having your life made up of work and friends... but there's always gonna be that void of companionship when you've been single for a long period of time. It's human nature to want to have a significant other in life. Especially for girls, it makes us feel more secure knowing someone cares for us and is there to hold us. I think that you get that little black cloud when you think about dating b/c you're afraid of committment, I've been there. You know how often I've been hurt and how often I've hurt guys and they leave little tiny scars but those scars make us wiser for the next time. You're the kind of person who lives life instead of reading about it in a book or magazine so you know about taking chances and that's what dating is. You can't think about the outcome just think about right now... go into it cautiously and you're less likely to get hurt. Odds are you haven't missed Mr. Right yet. If you did he'll be back, that's how fate works. If you like someone go for it, start from the bottom of the relationship latter and start climbing... hang out then date then turn it into monogamy... at least you'll find out the way he is before it gets to serious that way! And I don't think you need to be any less of a bitch.... you're honest and we need more people like that in the world. Less [scooby4prezident]
